Clean original pair of Altec 604-8H speakers and matching crossovers in excellent working condition.

These speakers are the last in the 604 series that utilized the Alnico magnets. To the best of my knowledge these speakers were only made in 1980 and 1981. The high frequency driver utilizes the "tangerine" phase plug and the high frequency driver feeds a single-cell "Mantaray" high frequency horn.

The crossovers are the original crossovers sold with the speakers. They have two adjustable controls for the high frequencies. These crossovers are completely original and have never been modified.

The 604-8H is extremely rare and is thought by some Altec speaker enthusiasts to be their best version of the 604 series.

The woofer cones are original and to the best of my knowledge the high-frequency diaphragms are original Altec that were shipped with the speakers.

The speakers and crossovers are in clean original condition. They have been playing for the past several months and sound excellent. They are sold "as-is" because of their age.

These speakers are boxed and ready to ship. The speakers are each packed in their own box. The crossovers are packed in a 3^rd. box.

Each boxed speaker weighs approximately 57 pounds.
